Toyi “Jack” Beguedou is an internationally certified spirits professional (WSET II) and a lifestyle influencer, specializing in the education and experiential development of American whiskey and single malt. Proud of his West African roots in Togo, Jack immigrated to the United States to pursue his university education, which led him to a successful career in finance and insurance after earning his degree from Bellevue University. He is currently the owner of Sommelier Insurance Group in Omaha, Nebraska.

A respected community leader and advocate for immigrants in the Omaha region and beyond, Jack is also a devoted father to his daughter, Brennan.

Driven by his own social challenges, language barriers, and experiences as a young African entrepreneur, Jack has found a community through his passion for gastronomy and beverages. With over 50,000 followers across various social media platforms, he has organized culinary tours in several cities, hosted comprehensive seminars, and raised over $50,000 for nonprofit organizations and hospitality industry initiatives nationwide.

His contagious energy and informative content encourage ongoing exploration and engagement at all levels of interest.

His love for gastronomy and spirits inspired him to create the Afrofusion dinner series, which combines African cuisine with whiskey, sparking lively and engaging conversations around African food and whiskey culture. These dinners, held in various cities, showcase the rich culture of African chefs and minority mixologists from around the world.
